Job Description

Senior Salesforce Engineer
Location: 100% REMOTE
Employment Type: 4 month contract - possible extensions

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Salesforce Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications and integrations that drive business efficiency and innovation. This role requires deep technical expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations. You will work closely with engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performing Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Build and maintain Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, and Middleware tools such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi.
  • Ensure solutions align with best practices, security standards, and performance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment and development processes.
  • Provide technical expertise on Salesforce architecture, declarative tools, and integration patterns.

Requirements:
Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing custom Salesforce solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with version control and CI/CD tools.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce declarative tools (Process Builder, Flow, Workflow Rules).
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration patterns.
  • Understanding of Salesforce security model (profiles, roles, sharing rules, permission sets).
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar CI/CD tools.
