Salesforce Technical Manager
Posted 3 days 4 hours ago by And Yorkshire Housing Limited
Are you a natural leader with a passion for Salesforce and driving innovation? We're looking for a Salesforce Technical Manager to lead our talented team and to ensure the platform is constantly evolving to meet our business needs. In this key role, you'll help shape our development strategy, drive the functionality roadmap, and make sure we're leveraging Salesforce to its full potential. If you're ready to lead, innovate, and have a real impact, we'd love to hear from you!
We believe work is something you do, not somewhere you go, so if you want to work for a company that is truly flexible and where you are valued, then this could be the role for you.
What we're all about
You can probably already tell that we're not your typical housing provider! With around 20,000 homes (and more in the pipeline), we're on track with our growth plan to build 8,000 new homes across Yorkshire.
We're dedicated to creating exceptional customer experiences along the way and are on a mission to build a culture that prioritises excellence, innovation, and customer obsession.
We're partway through our journey of delivering Salesforce, and we know that transforming the way we work will be key to overcoming some of our biggest challenges. By leveraging Salesforce, we'll streamline operations, enhance collaboration, and ensure data flows seamlessly, helping us provide a more efficient and unified experience for both our team and our customers.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you'll have full technical ownership of the platform, managing a Salesforce Operations Team to uphold the highest standards. This includes maintaining a continuous improvement pipeline for incremental changes, bug fixes, and ensuring the platform stays top-notch.
You'll also be a key player in our transformation programme, overseeing the development of major new functionalities and their smooth release into production 'business as usual' operations.
As part of the Technology, Insight, and Change Directorate, you'll work closely with teams across the business to deliver an outstanding experience for both our colleagues and our customers.
This role offers lots of flexibility, and you'll be able to balance your time working from home and coming into our Leeds workspace when the role demands.
Who are we looking for?
The answer is simple - if you are hardworking, driven, and ready for a new challenge, we want to hear from you.
The rest would also be great too:
- Implementation experience with major technology programmes
- Substantial experience in defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce platform
- Substantial experience in managing Salesforce 'BAU' operations
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in all aspects of leading and managing a technical team
- Experience in a hands-on technical leadership position
- Experience with Salesforce in a development or configuration capacity
- Knowledge of Salesforce Best Practices using Apex and Visualforce
- Experience building integrations with Salesforce and 3rd-party APIs with the Salesforce platform, including in-depth knowledge of Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API
- Extensive development experience using VisualForce, Apex controllers, Triggers, Batch Apex, and other programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform
We're also looking for someone with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, and/or a related field
Technical certification as follows:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator and/or Advanced Administrator
