SAP BTP Architect needed - Contract/Freelance

We are seeking a talented and experienced SAP BTP Architect to join our team and play a key role in the design and implementation of solutions using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

As an SAP BTP Architect, you will lead the strategic planning, architecture design, and integration of SAP's cloud solutions, ensuring that the platform aligns with business needs and delivers maximum value.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive digital transformation within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect SAP BTP Solutions: Design and implement end-to-end SAP BTP solutions that integrate with existing SAP and non-SAP applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategies.
• Platform Integration: Lead the integration of SAP BTP with other SAP products (such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc.) and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Cloud Strategy and Migration: Advise on cloud strategy, including migration planning for SAP workloads to the cloud, leveraging SAP BTP capabilities such as SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP AI, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Innovation and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BTP technologies and trends, recommending innovative approaches to drive business transformation. Provide thought leadership in adopting new features and ensuring best practices.
• Solution Design & Documentation: Create comprehensive architecture designs and technical documentation for SAP BTP solutions, ensuring high scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that the technical solutions meet their needs. Lead the technical team in the delivery of projects.
• System Optimization: Analyze system performance and provide recommendations for improvements in scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure that the architecture complies with security, regulatory, and data privacy requirements. Lead the design of secure and compliant systems on the SAP BTP platform.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in SAP implementations, with at least 3+ years in an architectural role working specifically with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP BTP components including SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, SAP AI, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Mobile Services.
• Cloud & Integration Skills: Experience with cloud technologies (preferably SAP Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and integration tools like SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), or third-party Middleware.
• SAP S/4HANA Experience: Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA architecture, particularly in integrating it with SAP BTP and other systems.
• Architecture Frameworks: Solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (eg, TOGAF, Zachman) and design methodologies for scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Business Acumen: Ability to understand business needs and translate them into SAP BTP solutions. Experience in industries like manufacturing, retail, finance, or healthcare is a plus.
• Project Management: Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience delivering complex SAP BTP projects on time and within budget.
• Certifications: SAP certifications in SAP BTP or related technologies (eg, SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP Business Technology Platform) are preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of security, data privacy, and compliance standards in SAP environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
