Job Description
Scala Engineer
6months + Contract
London, UK (Hybrid)
Key Deliverables:
- Contribute to the implementation of our product roadmap by writing high quality software using the Scala programming language
- Validate the correctness of solutions by performing appropriate testing
- Deployment of services to AWS
- Contribute to team meetings and design sessions
Resource Requirements:
- High level of proficiency in the Scala programming language
- Understanding of the SCRUM methodology
- Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL or similar)
- Strong understanding of modern testing practices
- Experience of event streams/queues (Kafka or similar)
- Golang experience would be a plus
