As Senior Account Director, you will play a key role in driving new business growth while managing and strengthening relationships with major clients. Working closely with the Managing Director in Paris, you will be part of a collaborative, people-centered team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Type of contrat: CDD or freelance

This is a temporary maternity leave replacement for a duration of 5 to 6 months.

Role requirements

Account Management

  • Oversee day-to-day client relations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently to ensure profitability on each project
  • Lead project briefings, creative development, and production follow-up
  • Build long-term relationships with key clients, driving loyalty and business growth through excellent service

Reporting & Operations

  • Provide regular updates to the Managing Director on project status, sales performance, and client satisfaction
  • Manage a team of 3 project managers, supporting the successful execution and financial profitability of the projects they oversee, fostering their professional development, and ensuring their overall well-being at work.
  • Oversee internal team coordination to ensure smooth execution of all client deliverables

Strategic Consulting

  • Advise clients on branding strategies with deep insights into luxury, beauty, and lifestyle markets
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop strategic recommendations that align with clients' goals
  • Monitor industry trends and client challenges to proactively propose innovative solutions

New Business Development

  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the agency's client portfolio
  • Lead pitch efforts and presentations, showcasing the agency's capabilities and value proposition
  • Drive the development of compelling proposals tailored to prospective clients' needs and industry trends
  • Foster cross-business unit synergies within the agency to unlock new revenue streams
Qualities & characteristics
  • 10+ years of experience in a communications/branding agency, with a strong background in client management and business development
  • Expertise in luxury, beauty, and lifestyle industries
  • Proven ability to manage major accounts and develop new business
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to translate client needs into creative and production solutions
