Job Title - Senior Account Manager

Department/Sector - Marketing

Job Location - Essex

Salary - £40k

The Senior Account Manager is expected to take full ownership of some of our high profile Marketing Services clients. This role requires a client focused individual dedicated to the delivery of exceptional client services.

Main Duties:

  1. Achieve and exceed client's expectations. You will also manage your own portfolio of clients;
  2. Continually strengthen and forge excellent client relationships through proactive directorship and communication;
  3. Maintain client satisfaction & retention to an agreed target;
  4. Increase client spend as a percentage of their total marketing budget;
  5. Prepare commercial client proposals and attend pitches with the Head of Marketing Services;
  6. Develop and direct effective campaign strategies through direct liaison between all involved in the project team;
  7. Prepare and present sustained high-quality management information reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis to clients and the management team alike;
  8. Plan and implement efficient processes and systems;
  9. Develop processes that help to accurately forecast and plan media spend;
  10. Employ excellent listening and probing questioning skills to fully understand clients' requirements;
  11. Increase your awareness of client competitors;
  12. Ensure the company remains proactive with clients by regular communication in all forms through effective account management;
  13. Promote the company, through a professional manner, appearance and delivery and always keeping promises;
  14. Accurately record time spent working on each specific campaign on company timesheets.

  3. Ability to successfully lead, motivate, maintain and grow an effective team;
  4. Proven ability to form and implement promotion strategies;
  5. Strong listening and questioning skills with acute attention to detail;
  6. A detailed and analytical approach to researching and analysing opportunities to increase revenue;
  7. Commercial awareness;
  8. Confidence in presenting technical and digital marketing information in a variety of mediums to clients and colleagues;
  9. Excellent report-writing, analytical and project management skills with acute attention to detail.
