Morgan Philips is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic client in Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil and gas industry, with exceptional account management skills and a proven track record in fostering client relationships and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve business goals and drive customer success.
- Sales Growth: Identify opportunities for expansion of existing accounts and lead initiatives to develop new business prospects within the sector.
- Project Oversight: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery meets client expectations and company standards.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status, market developments, and sales performance metrics to share with senior management.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and profitability goals.
- Customer Feedback: Gather customer feedback and ensure that it is communicated effectively to relevant departments to enhance service offerings.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role within the oil and gas sector, or similar.
- Strong understanding of the industry, including market dynamics, trends, and challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and market intelligence to make informed decisions.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales within the oil and gas industry.
- A proven track record of achieving targets and developing client relationships.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory aspects of the oil and gas industry is essential.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and Europe, as required.
