Job Description

Creating original and innovative luxury soft toys, Jellycat combines luxurious fabrics with quirky and cute designs and sells its products online and via stockists throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

We are seeking a highly commercial and strategic Senior Account Manager to join our growing UK Sales team to manage a team of Key Account Managers and contribute to the continued growth of our UK business. The main focus of this role is leading, training, coaching and developing a team of Jellycat Key Account Managers to build your portfolio of Key Accounts which include John Lewis and Waterstones - ensuring that we are maximising the growth opportunity, look fantastic in-stores and are building Jellycat Brand Awareness.

You will work closely with your line manager, Team Leader for our National Key Accounts and Head of UK Sales to achieve go-to-market plans and be responsible for aligning on annual budget plans and how you will achieve those, but we would never compromise brand positioning (luxury) in favour of revenue, so this is critical in the underpinning of everything we do.

You'll be;

  • Managing a portfolio of house accounts
  • Leading and developing your team
  • Developing and working to budget which align with the over-arching strategy for Jellycat
  • Pro-actively identifying growth and brand awareness opportunities within partnerships
  • Building short term/Long term go-to-market strategies for the portfolio of accounts
  • Regularlyvisiting customers and stores
  • Working collaboratively across internal teams such as accounts, operations and logistics
  • Preparing and presenting new collections
  • AJellycat Brand Ambassador always - exploring every LUXURY opportunity where we can raise Brand Awareness with our target consumers
  • Attending UK trade shows and market visits

You'll have;

  • Minimum of 4 years experience as a wholesale sales/account manager (ideally key accounts)
  • Experience with John Lewis is highly advantageous
  • Experience of people management and leadership as you will have direct line reports
  • Ideally has experience within a Luxury brand to understand the premium positioning
  • Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills and ability to read, forecast and communicate financial projections
  • Highly organised and able to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
  • Essential to be a creative thinker and decision maker whilst seeking guidance from senior team
  • Passionate about Jellycat and our characters and brand
  • Ability to prepare for a sales meeting with buyers and lead a professional sales meeting
  • A true team player who is flexible, personable, positive and is motivated by being part of a high performing team
