A specialist lender in the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and living sectors is seeking a talented Senior Analyst to join its growing team. Operating across the UK and Europe, this firm provides tailored and competitive financing solutions to experienced developers and owners, supporting their projects with deep market expertise.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Analyst to play a key role in financial analytics, transaction execution, relationship management, and portfolio oversight. You'll work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, contributing to deal sourcing, financial modelling, credit committee presentations, and loan execution while supporting ongoing debt portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Structuring & Analysis - Screen investment opportunities, perform financial modelling, and conduct market research.
  • Transaction Execution - Prepare indicative terms, review legal documentation, and manage deal closings.
  • Credit Committee Preparation - Draft and coordinate deal screening reports for approval.
  • Portfolio Management - Monitor loan performance, manage covenants, and maintain strong sponsor relationships.
  • Investor Relations - Support third-party capital raising initiatives, including due diligence and reporting.
  • Market Engagement - Build relationships with sponsors, investors, and consultants to grow the platform.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-4 years' experience in Commercial Real Estate Debt, Real Estate Fund Management, Banking, or Property Investment.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Experience preparing credit committee papers and conducting transaction due diligence.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • A strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
