Senior Audit Associate

About the Role

In this role, you'll:

• Lead the delivery of audit assignments, ensuring the quality and timeliness of work.
• Act as the first point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and anticipating their needs.
• Manage and coach junior team members, providing on-the-job training and fostering their professional growth.
• Contribute to business and people development within the team and beyond.
• Engage in advisory projects, working across audit and non-audit clients to deliver innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with risk management policies and industry regulations while identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Focus: Manage assignments from planning to finalisation, including liaising with clients, preparing audit findings reports, and providing insightful recommendations.
• Leadership: Support and coach junior staff, cultivating a positive team culture and ensuring continuous development.
• Business Development: Identify opportunities to add value to clients, contributing to the growth of the firm's client base.
• Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge of UK GAAP and audit methodology to deliver exceptional work while considering audit risks and technical matters.

What We're Looking For

• ACA/ACCA/CA qualification (essential).
• Significant auditing and accounting experience, ideally with UK GAAP.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive attitude and a passion for client service.
