Senior BD Executive (Finance practice) 12 month FTC

Senior BD Executive role in this top global law firm, aligned to their Finance team. London with hybrid working. Salary circa £60,000. 12 month FTC but a high possibility of extension.

This global law firm, with a great reputation, BD team culture and progression opportunities, is looking for a Senior Business Development Executive to join their Finance practice. The role will work with the Head of BD for Finance, a BD Manager and another Senior BD Executive. This role will have a particular focus on Debt Capital Markets, Structured Finance, Energy Transition and Infrastructure Finance. The role will be quite broad, taking ownership of a range of campaigns and bids, leading on one of their flagship Finance thought leadership pieces. The team have a dedicated Pitch Manager for Finance, allowing this role to be more strategic and work on all elements of BD. The role is a 12 month maternity cover, however the team have a great history of keeping people if they do well in the role!

Duties include, but aren't limited to:

1. Developing BD plans for the group, sub-practices and key leaders;
2. Developing consistency and structure for the client listening process for the Finance practice;
3. Project managing key pitches, in collaboration with the central pitch team;
4. Coaching Partners on pitch presentation and ensuring pitch best practice across the group;
5. Identifying and executing global thought leadership campaigns.

This role would suit an experienced BD Executive who is looking for a step up or perhaps a Senior BD Executive who's looking for a new challenge. The team will build the role around an individual and put the needed support in place. Experience of a finance practice or a comparable transactional group would be highly beneficial, but isn't essential.
