Senior Building Surveyor

Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary practice, is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join their expanding team in Liverpool. Due to increasing workload, we are looking for an ambitious individual to contribute to a variety of projects across the education, ecclesiastical, and commercial sectors.

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for designing and managing both projects and professional work. Key responsibilities include conducting condition surveys, writing reports, preparing funding bids, and budget estimates, drafting tender specifications, and managing planning and building regulations applications. You will oversee contract administration and project management from initial design through procurement and on-site delivery.

• Working within a multi-disciplinary team in Stockport
• Engaging in project management and building surveying across sectors such as education, healthcare, ecclesiastical, and commercial
• Specialising in education building consultancy and recognized as experts in this field
• Providing a wide range of professional services, including architecture, surveying, engineering, facilities management, energy advice, sustainability, and health and safety consultation
• Conducting condition surveys, preparing reports, funding bids, and budget estimates

• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience
• RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying
• MRICS desirable, but not essential
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident in client-facing roles
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in IT, including AutoCAD
• UK driving licence is essential
