Job Description

The Senior Data and Insights Manager reports directly into the Head of People and is part of the People and Culture team. The role will be responsible for the implementation of the People Analytics strategy, innovating on how we leverage people data to support the overall vision and business objectives of the SFO. This will involve working to an established people data capability, initiating collaborations with other parts of the business and across the wider Civil Service, and adopting relevant tools and technologies to optimise analytical and reporting processes, through modelling, forecasting, optimisation, research, survey design and implementation and focus groups.

As the lead person in people analytics and insights, you will have the opportunity to work on both quantitative and qualitative analysis projects. You will work across the People & Culture division, particularly with Senior Stakeholders, supporting key organisational decisions that involve the key drivers of employee engagement, how diversity representation is spread over the SFO, and where these could be improved or enhanced, as well as strategic workforce planning.

In addition, you will be responsible for the provision of accurate management information of a range of metrics providing regular monitoring, benchmarking and evaluation against these. This remit includes Learning & Development, Recruitment, Turnover & Retention, Vacancies, Pay & Reward, Absence monitoring and Staff in post. This will also include leading on submissions back to Cabinet Office, Central Government and other ministerial requests.

What's on Offer

£43,886 - £49,887 (Band C)

Staff applying on promotion within the Civil Service will usually be appointed to the salary minimum or receive a 10% increase on their existing salary. Individuals appointed on level transfer will retain their existing salary.

Location

The role will initially be based at our offices at 2-4 Cockspur Street, London, SW1Y 5BS, in central London.

Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK & not overseas. Informal hybrid working arrangements apply & there is an expectation that staff will attend the office regularly. Work pattern & office attendance will be agreed with successful candidates.
