About the RoleSenior Delivery Lead would be working with business stakeholders, scrum masters, Product owners and delivery teams within Reg Risk & Business Process to deliver on the priorities set by the business at LSM. This role will be working across multiple Regulatory initiatives.

This transformation is being executed through a structured design approach of developing a business model, Operating model and evaluating the opportunities which will need to ensure a Return of Investment.
The Regulatory, Risk and Business Process portfolio is one of this pathway, delivering major initiatives, small enhancements, and business as usual support to the Regulatory and Risk function and also delivery support to Operating Model initiatives that touch on cross functional areas.
We have a large portfolio of change to deliver in 2025, and a number of initiatives within the risk management portfolio which is delivering change to support operational resilience regulations, business and technical continuity and other areas of Operational and Enterprise risk areas.
Key Responsibilities- Delivery alignment: Responsible for ensuring alignment, co-ordination and driving delivery of execution across projects/design work that contribute towards the strategic outcomes of Reg & Risk functions specifically:
- Facilitate the ongoing coordination of delivery planning and oversight. This includes:
- Supporting the business owner, architecture and delivery teams to plan and manage change
- Work with business agility and technology to ensure there is alignment on the delivery of work and demand from the strategic pathways
- Ensuring business capacity is estimated, planned for and secured in order to achieve outcome and that any constraints are managed accordingly with plan prioritisation or mitigation
- Driving delivery and continuous improvement by utilising feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity.
- Participating with management and cross-functional teams as subject matter expert to develop and improve operating policies and procedures and be an advocate in adopting best practices and processes.
- Ensuring the risks and dependencies of the delivery are understood, articulated and are mitigated and communicated and above all are used to contribute towards successful delivery outcomes
- Supporting the prioritisation of work entering the demand pathway through backlog management, capacity planning and resource management
- Supports the mobilization of new initiatives, including the governance facilitation and creation of business cases, ensuring there is clearly understood and articulated return on investment
- Ensure the benefits, critical success factors and measures are identified and managed contributing towards successful delivery of products and initiatives
- Facilitate program processes and practices, managing risks and impediments raised by the delivery teams
- Provide demand pathway visibility of financial management, on the Grow investment and including aggregated spend and variance to plan
- Support the governance processes and forums for the pathway to ensure the effective management and oversight of the Reg & Risk portfolio, promoting alignment with strategic objectives and progress of delivery
- Liaise with the Business Change function to engage and manage stakeholders and for advice and support in producing relevant Change, Communications and Training artefacts to support embedding the change as appropriate.
- Provide the necessary reporting and data to support the broader LII strategic execution and governance.
- Participates in the design alignment forum to ensure we have a cohesive approach to the delivery and are managing interdependencies across the multiple demand pathways.
- Work with the business architect to ensure architectural coherence and support them in the resolution of issues that may arise.
- Acting as a true servant leader in the removal of blockers and impediments that are impacting the delivery of the initiatives/workstreams and the teams effectiveness.
- Work with team members to evolve the ways of working across the delivery and ways of working to establish consistent practices across the portfolio.
- Experience of working as a delivery lead/programme manager in delivering business model or operating model changes within the insurance industry
- Ideally experience in implementing change across Regulatory changes
- Experience of Senior stakeholder interaction and expectation management
- Experience of delivering high profile, large programmes of work
- Extensive experience in program & project standards, governance and methods
- Experience of senior leadership team stakeholder management and communications
- Experience of managing large teams
- Proven program delivery experience with an excellent understanding of how to execute a programme of work within a matrix environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrable experience of internal and external stakeholder engagement (including vendors)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
