Job Description
This is an opportunity for an experienced Delivery Manager to take a lead role, bringing a policy administration system live for a leading global insurance company. The successful candidate will combine their significant project management experience with exceptional stakeholder management skills to successfully bring a policy administration system (PAS) live.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of the project delivery lifecycle including project planning, resourcing, milestone tracking, supplier management, implementation, data migration, user acceptance testing and post implementation support.
- Leading a blended team of project resources including business users, IT professionals, and 3rd party resources.
- Representing the project to senior business stakeholders.
- Owning / maintaining the project RAID log and implementation plan.
- Significant experience of delivery leadership within an enterprise software platform environment, ideally gained within Insurance / London markets.
- Experience successfully onboarding Policy Administration Systems (PAS) in a phased implementation lifecycle.
- Developed appreciation for the complexities and nuances of integrating PAS solutions into a complex enterprise landscape.
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship management skills including the ability to mediate where necessary.
- Experience of modern project management and delivery standards such as Agile methods for commercial success. Backed by relevant training and certification. (Agile, Prince II, PMP etc.)
- Excellent team leadership skills, to support the success of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Rate Offered: £600 per day
- Location: Central London (City)
- Duration: 6 Months (initial contract)
