We're looking for a Senior Design Manager tojoin our Severn Trent team, you'll be part of theAMP8 Core-Team for the development of schemes from outline design,ECI involvement and into delivery.
Location: South Yorkshire,Sheffield
Hours : 40 hours perweek - some flexibility on hours is available if desired, justlet us know when you speak tous
What will you be responsiblefor?
In this role, you'll be working within the Designteam , supporting them in the design interfaces for the consturction andcommissioning of a number of up-grades and new treatment works forthe supply area during AMP8 .
Your day to day willinclude:
- Involved inthe ECI and scheme development at outline design, tender design andsupport the estimating team.
- Ensure allregulatory duties of Principal Designer are completed andrecorded.
- Coordinate the differentpackages of the permanent design and liaise with projectconstruction to ensure buildability, programme coordination andquality to meet the works information.
- Supportthe implementation and monitoring of PerformanceExcellence.
- You'll prepare detailed designbriefs to designers and subcontractors and manage the requests forinformation to the Client.
What are we lookingfor?
This role of Senior Design Manager is great for youif:
- You have therelevant qualifications such as a degree level, or equivalentexperience.
- Strong background in civilengineering design and recent experience as part of a managementteam on civil engineering design projects in a regulatedenvironment, preferably on water industry or comparableprojects.
- Knowledge of BIM processes and theability to use BIM model viewing software specifically AutodeskConstruction Cloud.
