As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage the estates in the south of the borough to ensure they are great places to live. You will work on important projects and collaborate with various stakeholders.
The Role:
As a Senior Development Manager, your responsibilities will include managing the full project cycle, leading external and internal specialists, and establishing relationships with relevant stakeholders like contractors, agents, and consultants.
Expect to work in collaboration with the wider team, meet deadlines, and fulfill WCC obligations and targets, including in relation to social value. You will also review and report on revenue and cost, design and progress meetings, development and project plans, risk assessment, and mitigation reports.
You will be responsible for developing project briefs, determining project risks, liaising with procurement and legal teams, and managing multi-disciplinary project teams. You will oversee technical designs and engage with the Project Manager to verify compliance with contract obligations.
You will coordinate the handover and aftercare stages by liaising with internal teams and external consultants to secure timely and quality completion of all project deliverables.
About You:
You will need a proven track record at a senior project management level within the development and construction sector. You should be adept at analyzing complex problems, developing business models, and managing risks effectively. Your ability to craft and deliver presentations and reports for a wide range of audiences will help you succeed.
You must be capable of inspiring and coaching team members, managing political and cultural challenges, and delivering project and change management initiatives. A strong commercial focus with active contract management experience is essential.
You should have a proven ability to manage contractors and consultants, establish budgets and cash flows, and oversee financial reporting. If you excel in analyzing project data and mitigating risks, you will be well placed to drive our projects forward.
