The Role

We are searching for a highly experienced Chip Lead to take ownership of CPU design and integration, with a strong focus on Cortex ARM Processors, System-on-Chip (SoC), and Network-on-Chip (NoC). This is a technical leadership position where you will be both strategic and hands-on, guiding teams and solving critical challenges.

You will:

• Drive, partition, and lead teams of 10-20 engineers across Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and India.
• Act as an architect and problem solver, providing technical guidance and hands-on support.
• Work with high-end CPUs, including those running video processors.
• Define and influence the development of SoC and NoC architectures.
• Work in a multinational environment, ensuring technical consistency and innovation.
• Help build a long-term, stable team, moving away from reliance on external consultants.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in CPU and SoC development.
• Expertise in Cortex ARM Processors and high-end CPUs.
• Experience with Network-on-Chip (NoC) is a massive plus.
• Strong technical leadership skills, including team partitioning and guidance.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and hands-on debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Ability to work in Leuven, Belgium (with potential flexibility for our Netherlands office).
