Senior Drainage Engineer

Our client is looking for a Senior Drainage Engineer to join their Flood and Water Management team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading multi-disciplinary design, engineering, and landscape architecture consultancy whose highly talented people are passionate about creating places that are attractive, innovative, sustainable, and safe. Their approach to integrated design produces award-winning results that have won international recognition. This is a full-time permanent role, working 2 days in the office and 3 from home.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production and agreement of drainage strategies
2. Modelling and review of existing drainage networks
3. Undertaking flood risk assessments and determining effective solutions
4. Experience of attenuation and pollution controls
5. Experience in SuDs design from concept through to implementation
6. Drainage detail design
7. Stakeholder engagement
8. Seek to add value on all works and knowledge sharing
9. Ensure quality control
10. Assist in the estimation of works costs and bidding of new works

Requirements

1. Chartered or working towards Chartered status of an appropriate professional body
2. Demonstrable experience in drainage engineering in both local authority and private sector
3. Wide range of skills and projects including attenuation, SuDS and public realm
4. Experience working in London and with TfL
5. Experience and knowledge within highways, the public realm and the civil engineering industry
