ADAS, a member of RSK Group, is seeking a Senior Ecology Projects Manager to join our team based in the South. The role is a permanent, flexible, and home working position and can be linked to one of our offices. Our Ecology business comprises a highly skilled team focused on providing services to a wide range of clients, particularly developers, utility companies, and the renewable energy and rural industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of ecology contracts, primarily for electricity supply and maintenance projects in the South and/or East.
  2. Quote and tender production.
  3. Budget management including working with our finance team for invoicing.
  4. Site visits for ecological surveys where required for the smooth running of the project.
  5. Working as a team with our ecologists to ensure quality projects are delivered on time.
  6. Writing technical reports including but not limited to, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, Mitigation Strategies, and Biodiversity Management Plans.

Person Specification:

  1. Relevant experience in a similar role.
  2. Graduate level education in a relevant subject.
  3. Project Management experience in the management of complex projects.
  4. Associate Level CIEEM membership or above.
  5. An in-depth knowledge of ecology, legislation, and survey techniques, including Natural England Licensing.
  6. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
