Job title: Senior Systems Engineer

Salary: Circa £50,000 dependent on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
- Participating in the NCSISS integration, trials and assurance activities
- Take ownership of task planning, estimating and dynamic management when allocated as task lead in order to achieve delivery milestone
- Undertaking analysis in support of trials and recordings, and providing a suitable report with narrative to substantiate findings
- Contributing in meetings, reviews and workshops as required by the customer and external stakeholders
Your skills and experiences:
- Experience of functional integration, systems trials and post trials analysis
- Ability to participate and contribute in technical discussions with the wider team including external OEM's
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Hands-on technical experience in systems engineering including hosting environments, IT networking and virtualisation
- Knowledge of current and future Combat/Mission Systems architectures
Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution. Engineers are encouraged, and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation. Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.
The NCSISS (Naval Combat Systems Integration Support Service) Team:
As part of this role you will provide independent engineering Combat/Mission Systems advice for NCSISS Integration and Trials activities.
