Senior Estimator - EPG/BESS

The Senior Estimator role within the EPG Team has responsibility for quality, process and the high standards our customers expect, to provide an effective and accurate pricing process in conjunction with the sales team to ensure gross margins are accurately quoted on customer bids, tenders and quotations.

They should possess a broad knowledge of all key aspects of power plant construction both electrically and mechanically. They should also have the necessary skills to show leadership within the estimating team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyse tender drawings and documents throughout the tender process.
2. Distribute enquiries to subcontractors and supply chain as necessary.
3. Research costs to meet client expectations.
4. Identify and report on risks and opportunities.
5. Ensure tender compliance with Health & Safety legislation and AVK policies.
6. Support the Project Sales team in accurately recording client expectations.
7. Prepare detailed prelim costs for the project based on specific timescales.
8. Prepare cost estimates utilizing ProScope software.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 5 years plus experience in an estimating role
2. ProScope knowledge advantageous
3. Electrically biased preferred
4. Organised
5. Proficient in Microsoft packages
