Job Description

An International Management Consulting firm is looking to hire a Senior Consultant to join their Executive Compensation consulting practice. The team is responsible for advising Remuneration Committees, Boards, and senior management, from start-ups to IPOs, on levels of pay, packages for new joiners and leavers, long and short-term incentive design, choosing and setting performance targets, and corporate governance.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  1. Supporting clients on the design of compensation structures.
  2. Execution/client delivery of high calibre professional advice including client reports.
  3. Designing incentive plans including selection of performance measures, performance calibration, equity plan valuations, and benchmarking.
  4. Understanding financial services regulation (ideally).

The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of remuneration and the issues affecting reward, along with experience in incentive design. You will ideally have (but not essential) an understanding of the financial services remuneration regulations, their background, application, and likely future development, as well as experience advising on their application and implementation. This experience may have been gained through an in-house Reward, consulting, or legal background.

You will be degree educated and ideally possess a professional qualification (Accountant, Actuary, Legal, CFA, or other relevant).

A proven track record of acting as a remuneration consultant is required, as well as strong interpersonal skills and experience in managing client relationships.
