Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a team of Finance Business Partners, providing guidance, support, and professional development.

  • Act as a strategic partner to operational teams, providing insightful financial analysis and guidance to support business decisions.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure financial objectives align with overall business goals.

  • Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring financial risks and opportunities are effectively communicated.

  • Identify cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies while maintaining high-quality patient care.

  • Provide financial modelling and business case support for new projects and initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, contributing to robust financial governance.

About You:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - essential.

  • Strong experience in a finance business partnering role, ideally within healthcare, NHS, or related sectors.

  • Experience in managing and developing finance teams.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge and influence senior leaders.

  • Proactive mindset with a passion for driving change and improving financial performance.
