Senior IAM Architect

Contract Type: Freelance

Duration: 05/05/2025 - 31/12/2025 (Full-Time, 8 months, with possibility of extension)

Location: Brussels (Hybrid - 2 to 3 days/week onsite)

What you'll be doing

As a Senior IAM Architect, you'll play a key role in designing and implementing secure access across the organization's digital landscape. You will:

• Develop and implement enterprise-grade IAM solutions to automate user access to systems and applications.
• Design and support authentication and authorization models for all types of logical access.
• Lead architectural planning aligned with business needs and security requirements.
• Implement Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions.
• Architect and deploy Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions.
• Analyze and recommend secure implementation choices.
• Ensure optimal configuration of security technologies and contribute to technical standards and documentation.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical, impactful solutions.

Your key qualifications

• Solid expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including IGA and CIAM.
• Strong experience with Active Directory, Azure, LDAP, OAuth, RBAC, SAML, and Cloud Security.
• Familiarity with frameworks like ISO 27K, CISSP, and security governance best practices.
• Capable of navigating and influencing within large organizational environments.
• Experience contributing to technical roadmaps and implementing security tools effectively.
• Native/bilingual proficiency in Dutch or French, with professional English.
