VASS is actively looking for a Senior ICT Security Manager to work for our client SRB in Brussels.

Job Description

Provide ICT Security services requiring specific knowledge in hacking tactics, techniques and procedures at least 2 days per week on-site.

Administration of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) /SPLUNK system;

IT security monitoring and incident management;

Execute penetration tests;

Execute security vulnerability testing;

Take on additional tasks as required in the interest of the service.

Job Requirements

Excellent penetration test and ethical hacking skills;

Excellent knowledge of IT security monitoring (Splunk/Microsoft XDR) and Incident management;

A team spirit;

A 'can-do' attitude;

SANS or OSCP IT Security Certifications;

Scripting ability.

Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, very good communication skills;

Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment.

Specific Expertise

At least 6 years of professional IT experience in the domain;

Technical experience working in a Windows client/server environment;

Broad experience in using Security Information and Event Management tools;

Proven experience using Splunk including administration, customisation, optimisation and dashboards definition;

Broad experience defining security uses cases (reporting, alerting and searching)

Broad knowledge of the current cyber threat landscape;

Proven experience in identifying, collecting and parsing log information to respond to and mitigate advanced threats;

Experience in performing security penetration tests;

Demonstrated experience in enterprise-level security incident handling;

A very good knowledge of English.

The work mission is intended to start in May 2025

All work, meetings and presentations will be held in the SRB premises.
