We are seeking a talented individual to join our Alternative Investments team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Cluj, Romania. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Senior IT Business Analysis Specialist will ensure the delivery of a portfolio of investment applications that serve our Private Equity and Hedge Funds advisory teams, playing a critical role in enhancing and maintaining essential Global Investment business systems.

We will count on you to:
- Gather, document, and refine business, operations, and system requirements in collaboration with business teams and technical subject matter experts;
- Translate business needs and requirements into use cases, detailed technical specifications, user stories, and functional documentation, ensuring alignment with system designs;
- Collaborate with technical teams and third-party vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and IT governance standards, and to remediate obsolescence and technical debt;
- Investigate, triage, diagnose, and resolve complex application & performance issues, providing ongoing support for high-severity incidents and ensuring service availability;
- Assist with testing application enhancements, upgrades, and disaster recovery (DR) processes;
- Ensure current and accurate documentation of products, including architecture diagrams, upgrade schedules, user guides, training materials, and testing documentation;
What you need to have:
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT, investment management, investment operations, or financial services.
- Bachelor's degree with majors in computer science, mathematics, or finance is preferred.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, calculations, and data analysis; VBA macro coding is a plus.
- Fluent spoken English is required with strong skills in business writing.
What makes you stand out:
- Relevant professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, SAFe Agilist, or ITIL is beneficial.
- Experience with tools and software such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart, Figma, Smartsheet, and Camunda;
- Experience working with remote cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, demonstrating collaboration and teamwork;
