Senior Legal Advisor - Social law

Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Advisory: Offer first-line legal assistance, both written and verbal, with a primary focus on social legislation
• Sector Representation: Actively participate in sectoral negotiations, represent the organization in joint committees (e.g., PsC 149.01, 149.04, and PC 124), and contribute to drafting collective labor agreements (CLAs) in collaboration with other federations. Manage board mandates in various sectoral bodies
• Communication & Information: Develop clear and informative articles, guidance notes, and model documents related to social legislation and sector-specific regulations. Draft and update CLAs while ensuring up-to-date website content. Maintain effective bilingual communication (NL/FR) with stakeholders
• Coordination & Organization: Organize, lead, and document meetings and working groups

Description du profil

Required Profile:

• A master's degree in law or equivalent experience with a strong focus on social legislation
• Familiarity with joint committees and collective labor agreements (CLAs)
• Knowledge of tax law and/or public procurement law is an advantage
• Fluent in French (written and spoken) with a good command of Dutch
• Strong analytical skills, excellent writing abilities, and effective communication
• Proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively
• A valid category B driving license
