Senior Manager - Value Added Tax

Artemis Human Capital is proud to be bringing a brand new opportunity to the Belfast market. Our client is a thriving Belfast mid-tier firm & well known for their reputable tax function. This is an excellent opportunity for a VAT specialist to join a dynamic team & work across an enviable client portfolio. Working collaboratively with both internal & external stakeholders, you will be responsible for providing advisory support across the firm's wider-ranging client base.

The Job

This role is pivotal for the firm in delivering expert VAT support. This role will work closely with senior management within the tax team & specifically be involved in the following areas:

• Advising the firm's diverse client portfolio on all maters pertaining to value added tax & indirect tax.
• Advising closely on property transactions & providing ad hoc advisory support.
• VAT due diligence assignments.
• Managing client expectations & maintaining excellent relationships.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role you must hold your ACA (or equivalent) qualification. Preferably, the successful applicant will also be CTA qualified, however this is not essential. Strong technical knowledge of UK VAT is absolutely essential for this position. Staff management experience would be highly desirable.
