A Senior Mechanical Engineer is needed by iO Associates to work with a leading global design, engineering, and project management consulting company in the infrastructure sector. Through the use of data-rich, virtual, interactive, and collaborative technologies, they help clients make more informed decisions for difficult jobs.

Our organisation is looking for a versatile individual who can lead and deliver a wide range of projects, from major, high-profile programs to specialised consulting, as a Senior Mechanical Engineer.

You bring proven knowledge and experience in:

• A mechanical engineering degree (or its equivalent) in a related field, as well as a chartership from an appropriate engineering school, or work towards obtaining one.
• Experience adhering to industry standards and design rules suitable for a safety-critical sector.
• Experience in creating design documentation, such as reports, calculations, specifications, and papers that encapsulate requirements.
• Previous experience in a safety-critical industry.

Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in developing the best design solutions to meet the needs of the customer.
• Create supporting computations and arguments to show how well the design performs in comparison to the specifications.
• Write technical papers and keep them up to date.
• Oversee the completion of your projects in accordance with the budget, schedule, and quality standards.
