Senior Mechanical Engineer - Whitehaven or Warrington (Sellafield Projects)

Rate: c.£50 per hour (Inside IR35)
Location: Whitehaven or Warrington (with Sellafield site visits)

Join our team delivering mechanical design solutions for Sellafield projects. Solve mechanical handling and lifting challenges, ensuring designs meet cost, schedule, and safety standards.

Key Requirements

CEng/IEng status
Strong mechanical design experience
Skilled in BS 2573 calculations & BS 8888 drawings
Knowledge of SOMSR 2008, CDM, PUWER, LOLER
Excellent problem-solving & stakeholder communication

Desirable

Experience with manufacturing specs, EO packs & Technical Files
Familiar with safety case development
