Job Title: Senior NodeJs Backend Developer
Location: London (Paddington)
Salary/Rate: £409 per day inside IR35
Start Date: March 2025
Job Type: 6-month Contract
Hybrid: 2-3 days a week on-site. (Paddington)

My client in the Media and Telecommunications sector is urgently seeking a Senior NodeJS Developer for an initial 6 month contract. This hybrid role requires 2-3 days on-site at the Clients office in Paddington.

Excellent Back End NodeJS, TypeScript and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) experience is a MUST for this role.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. A Senior Technical Leader has proven extensive experience or a proven track record of handling multiply projects or larger, more complex systems then a Technical Lead.
2. Ability to grasp and understand both Technical and Business aspects, which enables them to make strategic technical decisions that impact multiple teams or even entire departments within engineering while delivering solutions that delight the business/product.
3. Takes a broader scope, often overseeing multiple projects or cross functional efforts within engineering and providing leadership in the teams/squads.
4. Expected to work closely with enterprise/solution architecture stakeholders to write the application architecture design for the solution(s) and guide/mentoring the technical leaders of the squad(s) within Frontend Engineering to design and architect a scalable and reliable solution meeting business needs.

Required Skills/Experience
1. NodeJS: Efficient run time for building Server Side applications.
2. Typescript: Open-Source programme language superset of JavaScript with additional features.
3. Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE): Managed service for deploying and scaling containerised applications.
