Beaufort Special School is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, highly motivated, and professional senior office manager to lead and manage our administration team. About the RoleThe senior office manager will be a key figure in our operations team, working under the direct supervision of the headteacher. You will be responsible for leading the operational function of the administration team and ensuring a high-quality, efficient, and responsive day-to-day service. You will also play a vital role in supporting our HR and finance functions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task are essential parts of the role to ensure you are able to deal with staff, pupils, parents, external agencies, and all other stakeholders.
What We're Looking For- Proven experience in managing and leading an administration team, ideally in a school or similar setting
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of Arbor or similar systems
- Outstanding communication skills-both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
- A calm, flexible, and professional approach to work
- Experience with handling confidential information
- A solid understanding of how the administration function underpins the success of the whole school
- Experience in a school setting and a good working knowledge of school office systems is highly desirable
