Job Description

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing critical operational functions, with a focus on improving processes, particularly around client onboarding and daily operational workflows. The ideal candidate has strong operational experience and is passionate about optimising processes for scalability as well as managing and developing a team.

Job Description:
  1. Operational Ownership: You will take ownership of the design and implementation of core operational systems and processes that optimise the efficiency and scalability of our operations. Your operational expertise will drive operational excellence and scalability in our processes. The role will work closely with the Operations Lead to deliver the strategic vision of the company.
  2. Team Management: Manage and mentor a team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. This will involve fostering personal development and acting as a point of escalation to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
  3. Vendor & Partnership Coordination: Manage relationships with key vendors and partners, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are met and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  4. Compliance & Risk Management: Work with our compliance and risk teams to ensure that we and our customers remain compliant at all times.
  5. Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain reporting tools to track operational performance, ensuring key metrics are met.
  6. Collaborative: You are able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, finance, customer success) as well as with stakeholders from our partners and vendors.
  7. Exceptional communicator: You have exceptional communication skills and are able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences.
  8. Process Improvement & Problem-Solving: You have a passion for leveraging strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills to deliver an outstanding user experience for our customers. You use a data-driven approach to identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing process improvements, ensuring the scalability of our operations.
  9. Bias to Action: You are exceptionally organised and proactive and get things done at pace. Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment such as consulting, finance or a start-up preferred.
  10. Technical Ability: You are able to effectively leverage technology to automate and improve processes.
  11. Managing complexity: You are comfortable working in a highly complex and regulated environment and have a high level of attention to detail, especially when it comes to regulatory frameworks.
  12. Growth mindset: You are curious and want to personally grow and develop quickly to meet the needs of our scaling organisation.
Compensation and Benefits:
  1. Salary of £60k - £70k depending on experience

Working Pattern: 3-4 days a week in the office
