Payments Resilience Senior Operations Officer, London, Permanent
The Payments Resilience Senior Officer will support delivery of all operational post incident reviews, which require effective collaboration with Payments Ops teams, this includes resilience testing and ensuring robust processes are in place to support the Operational team.
The Senior officer will support the Payments Resilience Operations Manager in the commitments to regulatory obligations through management of monitoring, testing and reporting on Incidents and planned test scenarios with participants and our supplier.
Key Accountabilities
- Well-developed internal and external communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver solutions that enhance operational resilience
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and with minimal supervision, with a motivated approach to solving complex challenges
- Support the provision of reports for internal and external stakeholders (as relevant) including those relating to the status of any post live or test scenario
- Support the Resilience Manager ensuring Operational Resilience effectively acts as the stakeholder advocate on all operational matters
- Support the on-going compliance with all Pay.UK policies and procedures and complete required compliance training in a timely manner
- Comply with Pay.UK's Data Protection Policy and all associated procedures and processes and communicate any data protection risks to the Data Protection team without delay

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience working within a financial industry or compliance role gained working in-house within a financial services institution or professional services advisory business
- Skilled in navigating a highly regulated setting while meeting the requirements of regulatory stakeholders
- Considerable breadth of knowledge of business practice & risks, in particular relating to resilience
- Ability to anticipate and identify potential risks, limitations and opportunities related to the compliance monitoring activities.
- A solution-focused and responsive mindset is important for implementing new approaches and methodologies, enhancing personal and team dynamics
- Solution-oriented with bias for action and a pragmatic attitude in order to work with peers and make the matrix structure effective
- Advanced communication in all forms (written, verbal and listening), and negotiation skills
- Proficient in establishing productive relationships and promptly comprehending the priorities of senior stakeholders in the organisation
- Proficient in organising tasks and managing time efficiently. A highly effective person adept at handling several projects with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Capable in organising, supervising, analysing, and solving problems, with an emphasis on prompt action.
