The role

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior People Partner, reporting into our People Director, to support our teams across the UK, USA, Australia, Chile, India and Spain.

This role requires a deep understanding of international HR practices, employment laws, and cultural nuances to drive people strategies that align with our business objectives.

The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting organizational growth. You'll spend much of your time building credible relationships, coaching, supporting and challenging managers, so exceptional relationship building and communication skills are key within the role.

Key responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership:
  • Advise senior leaders on workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement.
  • Integrate with functional management teams, building strong relationships across leadership.
  • Represent HR, influencing business strategies, and providing support, advice, and challenge.
  • Analyse people data and metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as a champion for values and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, ensuring alignment with company values and business priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies, mitigating risks and maintaining best practices.
Talent Management & Succession Planning:
  • Lead talent initiatives to identify, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Partner with leaders to assess capabilities and build succession plans for key roles.
  • Support leadership development, internal mobility, and employee growth.
  • Coach and mentor managers to enhance leadership capabilities and drive a culture of high performance.
Employee Relations:
  • Oversee employee relations cases, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Coach managers on performance, conduct, and engagement issues.
  • Support proactive strategies to reduce employee relations cases.
Organisational Change & Restructuring:
  • Lead restructuring, redundancy, and change management, ensuring legal and best practice alignment.
  • Advise on organisational design, transitions, and communications.
HR Projects & Process Improvement:
  • Contribute to improvements in HR systems, processes, and policies for greater efficiency.
  • Ensure HR processes align with business needs and workforce trends.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent 5-7 years' experience.
  • Demonstrable success of working in partnership with senior stakeholders to deliver and implement innovative people solutions that meet business needs, within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ER experience and confidence in constructively challenging stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment laws, HR best practices, and organizational development principles.
  • Some knowledge of labour laws and HR regulations in the USA, Australia, Chile, India, and Spain.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in designing and implementing global HR programs and policies.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics.
