As we enter a phase of rapid growth and exciting organizational change, we are looking to strengthen our central marketing team with a Senior Performance Marketing Manager, who will take ownership of paid media, digital acquisition, and conversion optimisation. This is a unique opportunity for a data-driven, results-oriented marketer to drive growth across our European markets and shape the future of digital performance at Aspria.
About the Role
As Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you will lead Aspria's paid media strategy, working closely with the Digital Marketing Executive, internal teams and external agencies to optimise search, social, display, and programmatic campaigns. Your primary focus will be to drive high-quality traffic, optimise conversion rates to maximise return on investment (ROI)& Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
This role requires a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on execution, ensuring that digital acquisition campaigns are data-led, continuously optimised, and aligned with commercial objectives. You will also play a key role in refining the attribution model, testing frameworks, and audience segmentation strategies to ensure Aspria stays ahead in a competitive digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Acquisition & Performance Marketing
- Own and execute the performance marketing strategy, managing paid media channels including Google Ads, Google Demand Gen, Meta, programmatic display, retargeting, and mobile advertising.
- Oversee the media budget, ensuring efficient allocation of spend to maximise acquisition and lead generation.
- Work with internal teams and external media agencies to refine targeting, bidding strategies, and audience segmentation.
- Continuously test and optimise ad copy, landing pages, and creative assets to improve conversion rates and cost efficiency.
- Develop a structured test-and-learn approach, running A/B and multivariate tests to enhance campaign performance.
- Align paid media strategies with SEO, email marketing, and organic social to ensure an integrated digital approach.
2. Website & Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
- Partner with the web agency to ensure landing pages are optimised for conversion, including A/B testing and heatmap analysis.
- Monitor and enhance tracking implementation to ensure full visibility of customer journeys and campaign attribution.
- Lead attribution modelling improvements, ensuring the correct weighting of digital touchpoints in the conversion funnel.
- Work closely with the CRM team to align paid media efforts with retention and lifecycle marketing strategies.
3. Data & Analytics
- Manage and enhance Google Analytics (GA4) and digital performance dashboards, providing real-time insights into campaign performance, traffic trends, and lead generation.
- Ensure robust tagging and tracking implementation to measure channel effectiveness.
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports, providing strategic recommendations based on data insights.
- Identify and implement new tools, technologies, and best practices to improve campaign performance and reporting accuracy.
4. Team Management & Leadership
- Directly manage and mentor the Digital Marketing Executive, ensuring high performance, continuous learning, and professional development.
- Provide guidance on campaign execution, reporting, and optimisation techniques, fostering a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making.
- Support the wider marketing team with insights and best practices for digital performance marketing.
5. Stakeholder & Agency Management
- Collaborate with the central marketing team and local marketing teams across multiple European markets, ensuring digital acquisition aligns with regional objectives.
- Manage relationships with media agencies, creative teams, and technology partners, ensuring best-in-class execution.
- Educate internal stakeholders on digital marketing performance, key KPIs, and opportunities for optimisation.
About You
To thrive in this role, you'll need a performance-driven mindset, deep expertise in paid media, and a passion for data-led decision-making.
- 5+ years of experience in a performance marketing or digital acquisition role, ideally in a subscription-based, membership, or eCommerce business.
- Proven track record in managing and scaling paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and programmatic display.
- Strong analytical skills, with expertise in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Data Studio or Tableau.
- Hands-on experience with conversion rate optimisation (CRO), A/B testing, and audience segmentation.
- Solid understanding of attribution modelling, first-party data strategies, and multi-touch conversion tracking.
- Experience managing six-figure media budgets, optimising for cost efficiency and ROI.
- Strong agency management skills, with the ability to brief, evaluate, and optimise external partners' performance.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and data teams, ensuring a holistic approach to digital performance.
- Fluency in French, German, Spanish or Italian is a plus but not essential.
