Senior practitioner

We are looking for a Senior Practitioner Social Worker to join a Children's Disabilities Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the Team

This team provides assessment and care management to disabled children and their families by providing and monitoring care plans whilst liaising with other workers as appropriate. These social workers will be involved in all necessary aspects of the children's pathway inclusion CP, CIN and LAC cases as well and contributing to any initial court proceedings. All workers undertake their cases independently and adapt their approach to each individual complex case.

About you

A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience working with children, their families and court work will aid in the effectiveness of the role. A valid UK driving license and vehicle is essential to the success of this role.
