Senior Private Client Solicitor

Preston / Hybrid

A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its prestigious team. The Role:
  1. Managing a diverse caseload of private client matters, including drafting Wills, administering estates, inheritance tax planning, and establishing and managing trusts.
  2. Advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on complex estate planning and wealth preservation strategies.
  3. Providing expert legal advice with a client-focused approach, ensuring sensitive and tailored solutions.
  4. Mentoring and supervising junior solicitors and paralegals, fostering growth within the team.
  5. Collaborating with financial advisors, tax specialists, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
  6. Engaging in business development and networking activities to strengthen client relationships and expand the firm's private client offering.
What We're Looking For:
  1. 5+ years' PQE in private client law, with proven experience in estate planning, probate, trusts, and tax matters.
  2. Strong technical expertise, with the ability to handle complex and high-value cases with confidence.
  3. Excellent client relationship management skills, with a compassionate and professional approach.
  4. A proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to contribute to the growth and success of the team.
  5. Strong communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
  6. A commitment to business development and networking to enhance the firm's reputation and client base.
