The Project:

Be a part of our cost and commercial consultancy business that spans our five global hubs, where you can oversee work for world-leading organisations across the public and private sectors. Our procurement and supply chain team work very closely with our clients to implement a best practice and responsible procurement and supply chain pathway to contract award in managing the full procurement process and supply chain integration.

Public sector procurement expertise is a key service offering being developed in line with our responsible business objectives, to ensure our strategic advice to our clients is accurate and in-depth.

Supporting the strategic commercial delivery head of procurement deployment with adopting a centralised system of understanding and influence over global practice and regional and sector support.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Assessing global procurement and supply chain management activity to determine best practice to form the "Mace Way" standard approaches that serve as baselines for project utilisation including but not limited to:
  • Procurement management plans,
  • Procurement bid strategies, and tender processes.
  • Alternatives and options for contract negotiations.
  • Supply chain performance management and market intelligence.
  • Contract commercial management and arrangements.
  • Procurement and supply chain process and policy advice.
  • Supply chain management innovation and industry best practice.
  • Providing discipline-specific advice and support to regions and sectors.
  • Developing and maintaining proactive and positive relationships with all key stakeholders.

You'll need to have:

  • Excellent understanding of private and public procurement regulations and practices.
  • You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
  • Construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
