Job Description

At Evy, we strive to transform the insurance and services industry for the better. Our mission is simple: create the best product protection & repair experience ever, and help merchants offer it to their customers.

Team

We're a growing team of 50+ people and our founders have diverse backgrounds: Simon (ex-McKinsey) is our CEO, Shana (ex-Apple) our CTO, Tanguy (ex-Qonto) our CPO, and Benjamin (ex-Oney) our CRO.

Product

Our product takes several forms. For merchants, we've built an API-first solution that lets them offer product insurance and services to their customers, as well as a dashboard to monitor key metrics. For customers, we've designed a simple (and fast ️) claims experience.

What is the role?

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager with strong technical skills to help Evy scale. You will lead a cross-functional team of experienced designers and engineers who joined us from companies like Datadog, Toast, and Algolia, and you will report to our Head of Product.

As our second product hire, you will have considerable ownership and should expect to contribute directly to diverse projects including:

  1. Delivering a stellar developer experience: you will help build our merchant facing APIs, frontend SDK, and eShop applications.
  2. Helping merchants grow their revenue with Evy: you will play a key role in shipping our dashboard, which will allow merchants to track their revenues and grow them.
  3. Creating new insurance products: we believe most people aren't well-served by existing insurance products. Your mission is to change this.
What you'll do
  1. Set a motivating long-term vision and break it down into measurable milestones.
  2. Become an expert on our merchant partners' needs and their customers' expectations.
  3. Find creative ways to exceed customer expectations, and enforce transparency, fairness, and speed in all customer interactions with our product.
  4. Weigh in on high-impact technical decisions with complex tradeoffs.
  5. Own critical parts of the product and work self-directed.
  6. Contribute to hiring your future coworkers and improve our candidate experience.
Skills that will help you succeed
  1. Leadership: you thrive leading a cross-functional team, translating the roadmap into actionable tasks, explaining the 'what' and the 'why' and supporting the squad to execute effectively and on time.
  2. Experience working on products with technical interfaces (i.e APIs and SDKs).
  3. Data orientation: you own your metrics, care deeply about the numbers, and use them to build and prioritize an ambitious roadmap and track outcomes against your goals, driving engagement and alignment with the KPIs. Bonus points if you run your own SQL queries.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems.
  5. Fluency in both English and French.
  6. Backend - Go: Providing best-in-class APIs to our eCommerce customers.
  7. Operations - GCP (Google App Engine): Maintaining a stable, secure fleet of servers.
  8. Tools - Linear for issue tracking, Github as source control, Postman for API development, Figma for product design, Slack for internal communication, and many others.
Perks and benefits
  1. We offer comprehensive health insurance with Axa.
  2. We offer both full remote and flexible remote opportunities. Our headquarters are in Paris, France.
  3. We let you choose a laptop, monitor, and any other tool you need to feel comfortable.
  4. You'll have a stake in the company you're building.
  5. Pluriannual team gatherings in delightful places.
