Job Description

Senior Project BIS Engineer (North East - Middlesbrough)

Overview

The work will be varied and every project a new and exciting opportunity to use and develop different skills, both at a technical level and at a softer project execution interpersonal level.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and implementation of a wide range of systems to improve the performance of Life Science, Chemical and Manufacturing and processing companies.
  2. Involvement in all project lifecycle activities, including fault-finding, preparation of design specifications and reports, software programming, project execution, testing, installation, and commissioning.
  3. Providing technical support and consultancy to users internally and externally.
  4. Assisting colleagues in ensuring the successful completion of projects on time, to budget and the relevant level of quality.
  5. Maintaining and developing customer relationships in a highly professional manner.
Minimum Requirements
  1. At least 7 years of Real Time computing and Management Information Systems experience.
  2. Experience working in regulated industries such as Life Sciences, Chemical Manufacturing or Power and Energy is highly desirable.
  3. Ability and willingness to adapt to new software systems.
  4. Hardworking with a positive attitude to learning new skills.
  5. Effective communication skills in both formal and informal settings, orally and in written English.
  6. Driving Licence.
