Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Engineering team in Aberdeen. This role provides technical expertise and support across a range of projects, ensuring high-quality engineering solutions. The Senior Project Engineer will work on complex and diverse work scopes, contributing to project success while mentoring junior engineers and supporting business growth.

Reports to:

Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onshore and offshore project engineering support.

  • Mentor and develop engineers within the team.

  • Support tenders, proposals, and project management activities.

  • Contribute to business development efforts.

  • Review and approve technical documentation and subcontractor deliverables.

  • Conduct technical audits, design reviews, and resource planning.

  • Supervise personnel assigned to specific projects.

  • Assist in developing CTRs and manpower plans.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within subsea/offshore engineering.

  • Strong project management and engineering skills.

  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, standards, and full project lifecycle.

  • Experience with offshore operations such as DSV/CSV construction, rigid/flexible pipelay, heavy lifting, mooring, and vessel mobilisations.

  • Offshore experience is desirable.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in a relevant engineering discipline preferred.
