About the project

As part of the Project Management Office (PMO) competency, the Senior Project Manager will be assigned to specific existing or new projects, overseeing key managerial activities. This includes ensuring delivery excellence, managing scope, timelines, and budgets, engaging with stakeholders, and identifying and mitigating risks. The role requires a proactive approach to maintaining project alignment with business objectives while driving efficiency and success.

As a qualified expert, you will
  • Drive the successful execution of complex projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery by defining scope, planning, resourcing, and tracking progress.
  • Create and execute complex plans for multi-release projects, engaging stakeholders and providing internal and external reporting.
  • Establish and monitor project metrics and KPIs, generating comprehensive reports for diverse audiences to ensure project performance visibility.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks across project streams, developing strategies and escalating critical issues as needed.
  • Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships, managing expectations, communicating transparently, and ensuring alignment on project objectives.
  • Continuously monitor project progress, provide feedback and mentorship to team members, and proactively address performance issues.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, facilitating effective communication and knowledge sharing within the project teams and the project management competency branch.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance team performance and professional development, including training and mentorship for both team members and clients.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for project expansion and improvement, contributing to strategic planning and innovative solutions.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions to ensure project alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Actively collaborate and contribute to corporate delivery excellence and managerial expertise within the PMO competency.
We're looking for you if you have
  • 6+ years of demonstrated success managing and delivering complex projects with teams of 20+ FTEs, utilizing delivery excellence practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders and strong internal and external relationship building.
  • Proven track record of successful stakeholder management, including managing expectations, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment across the project.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
  • Proven experience coordinating and managing dependencies between multiple project streams within complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination across project streams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects within established frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and establishing them from scratch, with the flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing requirements.
  • Deep involvement in common project competencies and best practices, including QA, development, business analysis, DevOps, architecture, and so on.
  • Experience using data to identify areas for improvement and optimize program performance.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach with a passion for achieving project success.
  • A passion for learning and sharing knowledge within the managerial competency across the company and with customer representatives.
