Posted 5 days 2 hours ago by Native
About Us:
native is a game-changing marketplace of experiences twinned with a SaaS platform, revolutionising the student experience and student economy for Students, Students' Unions and Advertisers.
Our marketplace of experiences supercharges the university experience for students with an intuitive discovery platform for both native's own proprietary concert touring as well as all other experiences across SUs.
Our student advertising platform unifies the student advertising landscape, making it easy for advertisers like GoPuff, Converse and BBC Radio 1 connect with student consumers at scale, while providing additional commercial income for SUs.
Inspired by the founder's desire to help students have the best time at university, native truly enriches the lives of students as well as enabling SUs' to reach their potential. It's what we call the native win-win-win.
The role:
We're seeking an organised and proactive Project Manager to work closely with our interim Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) in rolling out a company-wide strategic roadmap. This role is integral to ensuring that all departments are synchronised, goals are met, and resources are effectively allocated. The Project Manager will help embed our strategy across functions, bridging teams and ensuring that key initiatives are both actionable and actioned.
You'll be the vital link that keeps all teams on track and aligned with the broader business vision. From coordinating sprints to facilitating the alignment of individual project goals with our master roadmap, your influence will be felt at every level.
Key responsibilities:
- Project Coordination & Tracking
- Support the CSO in overseeing the implementation of the company's strategy, tracking progress and aligning team goals to the master roadmap
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings, capturing detailed summaries, enumerating action points, and following up with team members to ensure completion
- Coordinate and lead a "scrum-of-scrums" process, ensuring all teams adhere to fortnightly sprint cycles and consistently deliver on their objectives
- Communication & Alignment
- Serve as a point of alignment across teams, reinforcing strategic objectives and ensuring each project contributes effectively to company goals
- Build strong relationships across departments, encouraging cross-functional collaboration to drive successful project delivery
- Facilitate key meetings and ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, etc), ensuring they are focused, efficient, and outcome-driven
- Resource Management
- Work creatively within limited resources, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to maintain momentum in project delivery
- Track dependencies and manage risks to keep the project on schedule and within scope
- Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain clear documentation of project progress, issues, and decisions, and regularly update leadership on key metrics
- Establish a structured approach to reporting, ensuring visibility of the project's progress and areas needing attention
About you:
- Extensive experience in a Project Management or Delivery Manager role, ideally in dynamic environments where limited resource/unlimited ambition is the norm (hopefully at a start up!)
- Solid, pragmatic, understanding of agile methodologies and experience in implementing and coordinating sprint processes across teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to synthesise information and keep teams aligned and engaged
- Exceptional organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities, and work independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to foresee potential issues and implement solutions
- Proven experience in influencing and motivating cross-functional teams, with a natural aptitude for building rapport and gaining buy-in
- Although you've not working the Product department, you have a good understanding of how a Product team works.
- Used Asana, Jira & Confuence before
- Dab hand at asana, jira and confluence
