Senior QA Engineer

Job Title: Senior QA Engineer
Location: Hybrid Remote / London
Salary: up to £100,000

Vertex IT Solutions is continuing to support one of its Financial Services customers who have a busy 2022 ahead with recruitment and expansion.

The Role:

1. Experience of undertaking all forms of Functional and Non-Functional testing
2. Financial sector experience (preferred)
3. Ownership of testing including:
1. Creating test cases for new features and raising defects and tracking them to be fixed and tested
2. Test coverage and status reporting
3. Capturing test evidence
4. Experience of supporting current automation tools and practices in use such as:
1. BDD automation using Cucumber- JS and SpecFlow
2. Maintain and extend automation coverage using Selenium WDIO using JS
3. Experience in Performance Testing (Selenium WDIO based scripting)
4. Experience with cross browser testing using Saucelabs and CI/CD tools

Experience Required:

1. Relevant Testing Qualifications (desired):
1. ISTQB
2. Certified Agile Tester
2. Broad knowledge of Financial Markets
3. Experience writing and maintaining Automated Test Frameworks
4. Knowledge of the FIX protocol
