Innovate to solve the world's most important challenges Senior Reliability Consultant We have an opportunity for a Senior Reliability Consultant to join our Honeywell Connected Industrials team, in Bracknell, where your focus will be to help customers improve the reliability, availability, and performance of systems, assets, and processes. You will combine your expertise in reliability engineering, data analysis, risk assessment, and maintenance optimisation to provide organisations with strategies and solutions that optimize reliability, reduce downtime, and increase operational efficiency. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model, with around 75% travel within Europe. From refineries to distribution centers to retail stores, we help deliver results while improving worker safety and meeting sustainability goals such as reduced carbon emissions - by leveraging connectivity, advanced data analytics, software, robotics, sensors, process automation, and asset performance management solutions. Key Responsibilities
  • Reliability Assessments: Comprehensive evaluations of systems and processes to identify performance gaps, involving historical data analysis, inspections, and maintenance reviews.
  • Reliability Improvement Strategies: Development of strategies to enhance asset reliability, including design modifications, maintenance practice changes, and the implementation of condition monitoring techniques.
  • Maintenance Optimisation: Collaboration with maintenance teams to create and refine preventive and predictive maintenance programs, defining inspection procedures, and recommending advanced maintenance technologies.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigation of failures to identify underlying causes and propose corrective actions through data collection and analysis of failure events.
  • Training and Continuous Improvement: Providing training on reliability best practices and driving ongoing improvement by monitoring performance, analyzing trends, and implementing risk assessment techniques such as FMEA and RCM.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree within Engineering, Science or related fields or equivalent experience within a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead customer reliability journey, ideally from the Oil & Gas and Refining industries.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle various projects simultaneously to drive timely results.
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively with a wide variety of audiences - internal and customer stakeholders from technical and business backgrounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to delegate and coach teams as well as manage customer relationships and the capacity to persuade and lead through periods of change.
