Job Description

We're on a mission to become the essential tool for anyone wanting to understand and work with the UK & Germany's private companies - which, as it turns out, is quite a lot of people! We need someone to grow our sales pipeline, and target the £ millions of untapped value left across the 20+ industries we support.

About us

We're a market leading tech company that provides data on the UK's private economy - including some of the fastest growing companies in the world. We're at a pretty exciting stage right now - we've built a profitable, high-growth business, with 120+ employees and an enviable client list. But we're not done yet. We're on a mission to become a global data company that helps every organisation discover and work better with ambitious, high-growth companies.

The role

You'll be part of a team being built from the ground up, with a fully-developed outbound sales tech stack already in place.

We've built a MEDDIC-led sales organisation that's laser-focussed on digging deep into the fundamental challenges facing our prospects. This requires targeted outreach towards senior Champions across multiple teams, and maintaining a high bar in our sales process. We believe that a high-performing, experienced SDR will be vital in dominating the UK and expanding in Germany.

Responsibilities:

  1. Reaching out to leads: delivering personalised, targeted outreach via cold call, email, LinkedIn.
  2. Consultative sales to senior leadership: exploring some of the biggest challenges faced by companies, and working to prove how Beauhurst data can solve it.
  3. Research potential clients: identifying and approaching potential clients who can benefit from Beauhurst.
  4. Ownership: demonstrating proactive problem-solving and taking responsibility for both your successes and mistakes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A track record of success in sales: you've had 2+ years experience as an outbound SDR for a complex product (and can point to your success while doing it).
  • You have a passion for sales, and whether it's through books, podcasts, or conversations with colleagues, you strive to learn more.
  • Natural people-person: a great listener, emotionally intelligent, and great at getting to know all different personalities.
  • Quick thinker: you pick things up fast, and you're able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Resilient: you're able to bounce back after a set-back and proactively learn from your mistakes.
  • German language speaking preferred, but not mandatory!

We're offering a competitive starting salary. On top of this, we invest a lot in keeping our people happy and healthy! So as well as that, you'll also get:

Professional development: Ongoing training and development, and free books.

A stake in the company: Substantial options scheme, so you can share in the growth that you help create.

The latest tech: We'll provide you with all the tech you need to be productive (including a Mac!), whether you're in the office or working from home.

Health and wellness: Free counselling, wellbeing baskets, and healthy snacks.

Events: Drinks every Friday, interesting talks from industry experts, company-wide parties and away days, plus regular team socials.

Subsidised travel: Rail season ticket loan, free railcards, and a cycle to work scheme.
