You'll be joining our passionate, ambitious Sales team in an exciting, fast-paced & high-growth environment. As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for supporting our parents to find the right tutor for their child's needs. You'll be calling warm leads who have signed up to the MyTutor website and manage their journey from initial sign up to becoming a new paying customer. No previous experience working in education is necessary; we have amazing in-house specialists and top talent from the industry to train you!

Working Patterns

This role will encompass weekday and occasional weekend working across earlier and late shifts.

  1. Early Shift: 8am - 5pm Monday-Friday (usually one week a month)
  2. Day Shift: 9am - 6pm Monday-Friday
  3. Late Shift: 12 - 8:30pm Monday-Thursday (usually one week a month)
  4. Weekend Shift: 11:30 - 6pm Saturday/Sunday (includes a 30 minute paid break and is usually 2 weekend days a month)

All early, late and weekend shifts are to be worked from home (if preferred, and after completion of probation period)

The Day to Day
  • Support parents in finding the right tutor for their child, using predominantly outbound phone calls but also email, WhatsApp, SMS and live chat.
  • Cross-selling products to maximise customers long term value and meet customer's demand.
  • Building strong customer relationships by demonstrating excellent communication techniques and product expertise.
  • Provide feedback about trends and patterns of parent needs to our Product and Consumer Marketing teams.
  • Work with the Consumer Sales Team Lead to continuously iterate on communication and processes.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team to meet targets and support each other.
Who will you be?
  • Able to work both weekday and occasional weekend shifts until early evening.
  • Previous experience of working in an environment with sales targets and KPIs.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic in your approach to sales.
  • Experience working with customers in previous sales roles.
  • Excellent communicator who empathises with customer needs.
  • Confident working with each parent on a one-to-one basis.
  • Able to feedback collaboratively and effectively across teams.
  • Resilient and consistent with ability to bounce back from setbacks.
  • A team player who works efficiently with a team to achieve targets.
  • Experience with Google Workspace (G-Suite) is preferred.
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM software is preferred.

  • Basic salary of £26,000 p.a. with c. £13,000 to £20,000 OTE on top, uncapped.
