About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our technology, leading a development squad, and writing high-quality, scalable code. You'll help drive innovation, ensuring their cloud-based platforms stay ahead in the industry.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing and enhancing cloud-based platforms to maintain technical excellence.
• Taking full ownership of your code, from development through to deployment and beyond.
• Continuously refining our codebase, workflows, and engineering practices.
• Bringing fresh ideas and innovative solutions to improve our products.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills:

• Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with AWS or similar platforms.
• Agile Development: Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Proficiency in writing and implementing tests to ensure high code quality.
• TypeScript & JavaScript: Strong skills in building scalable and maintainable applications.
• NoSQL Databases: Experience with DynamoDB, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• Modern Development Practices: Understanding of modular design, service layers, and clean architecture principles.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Observability & Performance Monitoring: Experience ensuring system health and reliability.
• Serverless Infrastructure: Familiarity with tools like CDK or SST.
• Microservices & Event-Driven Systems: Experience designing scalable architectures.
• Frontend Frameworks: Familiarity with component-based UI frameworks.
• Micro Frontends: Experience with federated Front End development.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of automated deployment processes.
• Security Best Practices: Understanding of secure coding principles.

Who You Are

You enjoy working as part of a team, solving complex problems, and continuously improving your skills. Strong communication and a customer-first mindset are essential.

You should have 5+ years of commercial experience as a Software Developer, with expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, and ideally React and MongoDB. Agile development experience is a must.
